2. How many users on the software can I have?
You can have as many users as you need. There is no extra charge. You can all work on the same program on different computers at the same time and in different locations.
3. Are there any extra charges for anything?

No, there are no extra charges for anything except: Online Rent Payments (see #16 below) and Tenant Screening. Both of these are optional services. If you already have a provider for that you can certainly continue to use them. The cost for a full credit report is $9.95. You can do even better with our #1 Combo. You get a Full Credit Report with a FICO Score from TransUnion or Experian and SSN Verified on Credit Data, PLUS the DoubleWhammy Eviction Report (two multi-sourced eviction databases) with Sex Offender, Terrorist search and America's Most Wanted search for only $14.95 per applicant. This is a great service because you receive the reports instantly instead of having to wait for someone else to run it for you and then email you. You can even run the screening from your phone.

4. How does the Tenant Screening work?

PMC provides a comprehensive and low cost service to screen your applicants. Prices for full credit reports start at only $10.00. For our most popular package you get a full Experian or TransUnion credit report with a FICO Score and SSN Verified on Credit Data, DoubleWhammy Eviction Reports with Sex Offender, Terrorist search and America's Most Wanted search for only $14.95 per tenant. This is a great service because you get the reports instantly instead of having to wait for someone else to run it for you and then email you. 5. Is my data safe?

Yes! During purchase, your data is encrypted and protected by Paypal, our U.S-based payment processor, and verified by Verisign. The credit card information never touches our hands. When you're logged in and using Property Manager Cloud, your data is also encrypted and secured. In both cases, the site uses 256-bit SSL technology, the same as banks and other secured websites, to ensure your data is not intercepted during transmission.

When you use our web-based software, your data is stored on secure, always-updated, backed-up daily enterprise-class servers in a state-of-the-art, highly-secure data center. Since we have dedicated servers it makes our program faster. We spared no expense to make our software fast and secure.

6. Can I back up my data?

Yes. We have several options to export your data.

7. Why do you need my credit card if it’s a free trial?

We need your billing information to reduce fraud and to verify you have a valid credit card should you upgrade, keep your account open, or order any paid products such as tenant screening or automatic rent collections. This will also prevent any interruption in service.

8. Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely! You can cancel your account whenever you'd like. There are no contracts for you to sign. You simply log into PayPal and cancel online at any time.

9. How am I billed?

Billing occurs monthly based on the day of the month you sign up.

10. Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes. All you do is cancel your plan and then sign up for your new plan upgrade. None of your data will be lost in the process of upgrading your subscription.

11. Can you tell us more about Property Manager Cloud?

You will like Property Manager Cloud because we offer a tenant portal, connecting management with their residents. This is where residents can create maintenance requests, pay rent, monitor balance and view history. Property Manager Cloud also includes an owner portal where users have a real-time view of their properties in multiple locations and report generation capabilities. Property Manager Cloud is priced on a subscription basis and you are free to cancel at anytime. Since everything is stored securely in the cloud, it alleviates the need to buy additional hardware or invest in updates. 12. Will this software work with section 8 and subsidized housing property?

Yes. Many of our customers have properties with Section 8 and government-type housing.

13. Will this work with any type of property?

Yes, it will work with any type of property. We have customers with every type of property imaginable including a nursing home.

14. Will this software work in other countries such as Canada?

Yes. We have customers in every state of the U.S, most Provinces and Territories in Canada and many other countries. PMC has different date formats to choose from for your area of the world. PMC also has various currencies; you can ask for your currency to be added to the program, if it is not in the program.

15. What is web-based software anyway?

Web-based software is software you use over the internet with a web browser. You don't have to install any CDs, download any software, or worry about upgrades. If you use online banking or web-based email program like Gmail then you’ve already used web-based software.

16. How does your online Rent Collections work?

An fully integrated online rental payment system syncs with the accounting in this software. Your tenants are also automatically emailed a payment confirmation notification. Soon, this feature will be enabled with text-pay along with interest-free rent loans for your tenants.

Alternatively, you can use the payment provider of your choice. A link can be added to the tenant portal which can direct them to another site.

17. Will the software work on a Mac or PC?

Yes it will work on any type of computer, as long as you have internet access.

18. Do you have an app for the software?

We don't have an App at this time because we have designed the software to fully work on any device or tablet. You are able to fully use it on your iPad or Smartphone.
